Okay, his name is Scott. We found Scott wandering the Mongol Rally boards in search of a home. After a suitable amount of stalking, we brutally grilled Scott for an hour, and by brutally grilled we chatted and talked about the trip and Scott’s near death experiences. He’s not “nerdy” per say, but that’s okay. He’s going to be stuck in a car with us for a month. We’ll convert him yet. So after the many trials we put Scott through, we decided we liked him. Thankfully he liked us too.
So no, we’re not an all-girl team now but we gained a Mustache. And who doesn’t like mustaches? You can learn more about Scott and his great blog Travelstache below. Be sure to check it out and welcome him to the team!
Scott Joseph is a travel guru and mustache aficionado. After spending most of his life in metro Detroit, he is now a certified world traveler having recently earned his advanced scuba certification in Honduras, traveling in Barcelona, acting as director for a summer camp in France, visiting Sri Lanka and India where he took a yoga teaching course, and finally trekking up to Everest Base Camp. And that was all in one summer. Scott is currently on a solo journey around the world, while writing and photographing it all on his Travelstache blog. A world traveler indeed, Scott’s greatest passion is sharing his experiences and knowledge with teenagers. He has worked as trip leader and logistics director for an adventure travel company for teens. He has now been to over 40 countries on 6 continents and has no plans of slowing down.
He also has a great mustache.
